What a story line for the day. This is one for the ages, not just in sports, but in life.  Augusta National Golf Course is buzzing today. The world and the PGA saw Tiger Woods win his fifth green jacket in 2019. When you think of the player that Tiger has been over his career him winning The Masters for a 5th time does not seem like a major thing. He has not won a major tournament since 2008. Between his personal life and major injuries he has not been the same person or player.

When you go back to Thursday and seeing Tiger on the practice range, you could see that there was something different about him. That confidence was showing. There was purpose in his eyes and the look that I have been here before and I have made history. This is my time to shine and I do not plan on wasting this opportunity.

For Mr. Woods this win goes beyond sports, it is a milestone in his life. His children got a chance to see their father be one of the greatest golfers in the world. Today was not only about him winning, it was about family. His son Charlie, his daughter Sam, and his mother Tita. Their reactions were priceless. I know that his father is looking down on him with a big smile on his face. His mother looked upon her son Tiger with a pride that come only from a mother.

Considering that just 2 short years ago he was about to hang up his clubs because things were just not coming together for him physically. Surgery after surgery and he was ready to call it a career. When your body is not cooperating it is hard to get yourself mentally prepared for the stress and strain of being on the PGA Tour.

Tiger winning his 15th Major leaving him only 3 behind the great Jack Nicholas. If Tiger continues to play at the level that he displayed during The Masters it is only a foregone conclusion that he will surpass Nicholas on the all time Majors list. Woods is also second in PGA Tour wins with 80. Second only to Sam Snead who has 82.

With his body healthy and being in the right state of mind there is no telling how far he can go. Yes, it is too early to tell, but for the sport of golf a healthy Tiger Woods winning is a great thing. At age 43 he looked like the Tiger of old. When he has the poise and confidence that he showed this weekend, his opponents have lots to worry about.

Tiger with a win for the ages.
